More Organized Play!

We have a great collection of organized play games for you to enjoy beyond Living Forgotten Realms.

Players of Legend of the Shining Jewel, Fellowship of the White Star and Pathfinder Society will be happy to see a schedule up on Warhorn.

Sign-ups will be live this coming weekend, so grab your friends and coordinate your schedules.

LFR schedule posted on warhorn!

Hi all, we're working on getting our organized game schedules in place. Last night I posted the warhorn entries for the Living Forgotten Realms campaign here at http://www.warhorn.net/anonycon-2010.

Something you may well notice is that many of the games are older games or new games but games that will be out this month.

Organized Play Games and you

So, we have 3 months to get a schedule ready for AC 2010 and you can help. Send us your suggestions of what you'd like to see. We can't promise we'll make everyone happy but we will take the best ideas and try to make lots of people happy.

Back in Action

We're alive again, after a summer hiatus. Expect old games to head to a 2009 holding area as we make way for new events. Warhorn will be up shortly, and we'll have news about vendors, sponsors and special events in the coming weeks.

Archiving to begin

There comes a time each year for us to fondly bid farewell to last year's games and prepare the site for the new bounty to come.

Archiving of events on the site will begin soon, but fear not, your favorite game blurbs will not disappear. We will be testing out a new set of tags by year to collect games old and new alike. This should allow enthusiastic followers to scan through previous events while also making clear to new visitors which games will be playable in 2010.

PostCon Success!

Our staff and volunteers had a wonderful weekend of relaxed gaming that included Cthulhu in New Haven, art in the desert and zombies in Atlanta.

Thanks to our generous GMs and Authors, and to those who traveled to join us for the fun. I always love the chance to see what the games are really about, after hearing so many great stories.

Stay tuned for dates coming this week, we will have a time and place confirmed.

Contract signed

We've got our 2010 contract just about done, so expect an announcement in the new few days with a date and location for AnonyCon 2010!

If you'd like to participate, help things go smoothly, run a game or just add some feedback, let us know through the forums, contact us, or just comment on this entry.

Thanks for your support.

Thank You!

Thanks to everyone for a wonderful year. We had people come from all over – congrats to Alisha, Dan, Adam and Anise for the long distance award. There were new vendors and old, and many new games and systems to try this year.

Special thanks to Joe for handling the LFR muster and all the swapping of modules, tables, GMs and players to keep everyone in a game.

We could not have had a registration desk without Alisa, and her dedicated group of volunteers including Kirsten, Emily, Lynn, Becky, James, Alisha, Julian and sometimes Miguel and TJ!

Last LFR Schedule Changes

Due to delays in several modules, I've had to remove/replace a couple of games from our schedule. The affected modules were AKAN 1-6 "Abeir Eternal" and EAST 1-6 "The Fardrop Incident". These were both Level 7-10 adventurers and have been replaced with two other Level 7-10 adventures, WATE 1-4 "Mystery of Deepwater Harbor" and DRAG 1-6 "Night of Fallen Petals". Players have been moved into the new modules, except for Friday afternoon's AKAN 1-6 slot. That game has been dropped entirely, to support games with more interest at this time.

Apologies for any and all inconvenience this causes.

Final Days

We are all very excited, and doing the last of our preparations.

As you do your packing, don't forget to bring pencils, dice, spare paper, perhaps some earplugs, and a holiday shopping list for the vendor room.

New poll is up, as we're hoping to raise some money for Child's Play and Library Literacy efforts this year, and we would like to know what would be interesting to you.

Pass it on
