I do actually try to have a plan for missions in Inspectres, the game I'll be running at Anonycon. I would say that it's rare when it follows the script, but that would be inaccurate. That's because games of Inspectres absolutely never follow the GMs designs. Why? Well, that's the way the game is built. The PCs rolls d6s to see how successful they are at whatever they're doing, and here's the thing - if they roll a 6, they get to tell me what happened. That's right, total control.

I had the pleasure of attending Otherworld for the first time recently, and as I think more about LARPs and games, I wanted to share my very positive experience. This weekend-long event in Pomfret, CT was one of the longest and most intense gaming experiences I've had in a long time.

This year we are excited to feature a full slate of organized play campaigns from our favorite ongoing stories.

We still have a few submissions coming in, and the organized play schedules are in formation, so stay tuned for more in a few days.

We always love more diverse games at AnonyCon, so we're very thankful that Pantheon Press could join us this year to run Fortune's Fool for some lucky gamers. Thanks to Rob Trimarco, Jay Stratton and Jason Keeley for coming out to join us, we hope to see you again soon for more fun games!

We were very happy to welcome Vincent Baker aka Lumpley Games to AnonyCon, and we hope to enjoy Dogs in the Vineyard, Apocalypse World and more throughout the year. Vincent's games have opened up wonderful worlds of narrative RPGs to me and many others on staff, and we're so glad to have him join us.

Where to start?!

We all owe a huge batch of gratitude to Alisa for coordinating our volunteers most ably. She recruited our fantastic team, scheduled them for all the various duties and made sure our HQ was always staffed and ready for action. Thanks to Alisa we have smiling faces ready to answer all your questions, badges ready to go for pick-up if you pre-registered, and food circulated around to our generous GMs.

I'm very grateful to have Alisa's help, and I look forward to working with her each year because I know she's so talented with logistics and with Getting It Done.

Thanks Matt and Meghan (and James and Katie too) for making our video game room happen as well as supplying a boatload of board games for open play. We're always glad to have these extra options for periods of downtime or those odd in-between hours. Thank you also for being patient and knowledgeable while teaching any number of games to new and old players.

Big thank you to Art for organizing Pathfinder Society, Legend of the Shining Jewel, and Fellowship of the White Star games and judges. We always love expanding the diversity of our games and scenarios, and Art helps us make that happen through his network and work recruiting players.

We're all grateful for the help of Lisa S, bringing tons of carefully made and protected muffins for the benefit of our staff, volunteers and GMs. Her cooking kept us happy morning, noon and night, and she provided valuable support at our prize table and the upstairs badge pick-up desk. Thanks again Lisa!
